'MIGHTY' MARKUS RICCI: Med Student by Day, Sexy Model by Night

Markus' newest on-screen project is his role in the new Style Network series Wicked Fit, which airs every sunday at 9pm. He has been casted as Katie Boyd's new assistant in her Boston located Gym 'Miss Fit Club'. Check it out with all the drama, romance and scandalous action!
Markus Ricci has also been filmed in commercials for Nike, Reebok, and New Haven Hospital, along with Kenny Chesney’s Summer in 3D Movie. Markus has also appeared in magazines and other forms of print representing BJs, Gailton, The Four Seasons Hotel, Rokk Vodka, and MyVU eye wear. To add to commercial and print media Markus has appeared in and also worked with PUMA as a Fitness Model.
In August of 2008, Markus was selected to compete in the 2008 Mr. USA Pageant. After winning the online contest and receiving “best in swimwear”, Markus went on to place runner-up. In the summer of 2009 Markus was chosen from applicants around the nation for FLEX Magazine’s Flextreme Makeover, which ran in the March 2010 issue of Flex Magazine. Markus’ physical endeavors have led him to be very successful in the natural bodybuilding circuit; while competing in all-natural organizations such as the OCB and BLNPA he has taken home top honors as well as awards for best poser and over-all winner.
Markus has landed several covers including Manner Magazine’s November 2010 issue, and one of Lora Leigh’s Romance novels along with 4 other Romance covers in the Smoke Jumpers series.

In early to middle 2012 Markus appeared on the cover of Charles Lasalle’s Fitness book: Get A Bangin' Body (published by Penguin) featuring The City Gym Boys – a motivated and inspiring group of young men looking to educate inner-city youth on the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle.
Markus holds a bachelor of arts from Wheaton College, where he studied chemistry and played 4 years of Div. III lacrosse. Markus has also traveled to the country of Honduras, where he volunteered both in a medical clinic and school. His dream is to inspire the life of others through not only personal life experiences but also print and commercial art.
Markus just turned 29 and is studying to be an MD; he is entering his third year of medical school. His rotations take him to many locations so there is no one place, but in Febraury of 2014 he will be in the Ft. Lauderdale & Miami area. Currently he lives in Boston which is also where he grew up and spent most of his school years. We all wish him the best of luck in medical school. He is looking forward to one day combining medicine with his love for fitness.
